FXC 4.4.2A New Features
Some additional support for drawing icons was added:
The file chooser menu now displays thumbnails of the icons
Drawing icons can now be rotated to various angles
Multiple clients are able to run from one installation of FXC without interference;
FXC 4.4.2 New Features
These features were added in direct response to
feedback from users. These do not appear in the BETA version
- Mapped images can now be true map backgrounds
(You can overlay real-time graphics and images)
- "Cobine Image" is automatically enabled when
loading a mapped image
(You can overlay a radar directly. However,
you will still need to change transparency if
echoes are to be opaque)
- Default scale can be a zoomed-in area of the scale
- New FXC installation script options:
(8) Set default zoom for scale
(Recommends a zoomed-in area)
(9) Add/delete a map (on menu) has four sub-options:
1 - D2D shapefile
2 - D2D map
3 - Mapped GIS image
4 - Unmapped image
Maps can easily be replaced, if they already exist
Mapped images must be mapped to a scale using ArcMap!
- The FXC installation script now retains some of the
configuration information of the previous installation(s)
